Running: It's actually more expensive than therapy
Week three of 50k training is in the books (only three weeks? It feels like so much more haha). Well here's a quick recap to update you on how it's going and how I feel.
Sunday Farklek Run
These type of workouts are new for me and I am enjoying them. I like being able to go from a super fast run to a moderate one because I know it helps me with my speed.
Monday 8 Easy
Tuesday 8 Moderate
Wednesday 4 Easy
I did some elliptical cross training and weights.
Long run #1 of the week
These back to back long runs are no joke! I think this was the most challenging day and now I see why I had so many easy miles this week in preparation.
One thing I like about this plan is every week is so different. The mileage is building but I a still motivated and interested in the process. Next week I have a half marathon for my long run so that will be fun to mix things up a bit.
